Property Description:

This property is not supported by Internet Explorer, up to and including version 7, or Firefox, up to and including version 2. Using JavaScript is recommended instead, considering the current support status of this property. This property creates and modifies a variable from within CSS. While this holds a lot of practical potential for automated formatting and structuring, it currently isn't properly supported by modern platforms. Directly related property: counter-reset.
