Possible values directly from the standard:

left, right, none, inherit

Property Description:

This property causes the element to 'float'. Floating elements allow following content boxes to flow alongside them, down the right side if the element is floated to the left, or down the left side if the element is floated to the right. To render properly, a floated element should be assigned a width property, if it does not have one inherently. See related property -- clear.
