Possible values directly from the standard:
disc, circle, square, decimal, decimal-leading-zero, lower-roman, upper-roman, lower-greek, lower-latin, upper-latin, armenian, georgian, lower-alpha, upper-alpha, none, inherit

Property Description:

Defines the style of list markers that will be used in lists within the element. If a value has been set for list-style-image, and the image URL could not be loaded, the value for this property will be used instead.

  • disc - A filled circle.
  • circle - A circle outline.
  • square - A filled square.
  • decimal - Decimal values, self-incrementing (1, 2, 3, 4, 5...).
  • decimal-leading-zero - Zero-padded decimal values, self-incrementing (08, 09, 10, 11, 12...). No support in Internet Explorer
  • lower-roman - Lower roman values, self-incrementing (i, ii, iii, iv, v...).
  • upper-roman - Upper roman values, self-incrementing (I, II, III, IV, V...).
  • lower-greek - Lower Greek values, self-incrementing (alpha, beta, gamma...). No support in Internet Explorer
  • lower-latin - Lower latin letters, self-incrementing. No support in Internet Explorer
  • upper-latin - Upper latin letters, self-incrementing. No support in Internet Explorer
  • armenian, georgian - Self-incrementing set of symbols/glyphs of each type. No support in Internet Explorer
  • lower-alpha - Lower alphabet, self-incrementing (a, b, c, d, e...).
  • upper-alpha - Upper alphabet, self-incrementing (A, B, C, D, E...).
  • none - No list markers will be displayed.
  • inherit - Will inherit the value from the Parent element.
