Property Description:

The Outline properties are not part of the browser rendering model, but rather used to aid in software implementations and testing environments. They are therefor not applicable in any browser, and are not part of the Box Model. For development purposes, the outline appears on the outer edge of the border sub-element of the Box Model. They're designed mainly for dynamic selection of already-rendered documents, for various purposes, such as debugging.
