Property Description:

This property sets the width of the block element that it's assigned to. Negative values are not allowed. If the inherent width of an element is wider than the assigned width value (for example, an image is wider than its containing block), the content that flows over the assigned width value will be displayed according to the element's overflow property value. Directly related properties: min-width and max-width. Understanding the Box Model is generally required to properly implement this property.
